What is the history of your organization?
Christmas Celebration/Charity Celebration ("CC") is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization on a mission to raise money for South-East Michigan Charities. It originally began in 1991 and managed the Christmas Light display at Domino's Farms in Ann Arbor, MI. Payitbehindyou.com is a dba of the corporation and hopes to continue to raise money to distribute to other deserving 501(c)3 entities. CC files annual tax returns and has raised and distributed over $1 million dollars to non-profits. Additional information can be found by visiting www.charitycelebration.com.
Can I get a receipt for my donation?
You may get a charitable donation receipt/letter email receipt for tax purposes, by written request only, by emailing us at info@payitbehindyou.com.
When will you distribute funds to the designated non-profits?
We write checks quarterly and will distribute designated funds to the 501(c)3 organizations by the 15th of the month after the quarter when the designated contributions were made/collected.
What is your non-profits expense ratio?
Our operating/fund raising expenses have been historically extremely low (less than 5%) and we have mandated that the Payitbehindyou.com program shall utilize no more than 20% of proceeds for operational costs, marketing, promotion, computer expenses, administration, accounting, social media, credit card fees etc......
Do you file annual tax returns?
Yes, we file annual tax return 990 or 990EZ which are available for viewing by clicking below.
Do you have 501(c)3 organizational documents/approval and a list of charities you have donated to in the past?
