The Standard Payitbehindyou method
After you order at the drive thru speaker, drive up to the window to get YOUR order. The attendant will tell you what you need to pay for your order. Politely ask " What's the person or car behind me's bill?" If it is within a range you are comfortable with to "payitbehindyou", tell the attendant you want to pay the bill and do so. Ask the attendant to give the person you bought their order along with the PAYITBEHINDYOU.COM business/donation card. That's it! You will feel so good doing it!
The Car-less Payitbehindyou helping hand
Don't let not having a vehicle stop you from completing your Payitbehindyou.com challenge. You can do it wherever you are and there are other people paying for things. Family members and I have personally done it at grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, doughnut stores, toy stores, gas stations etc..... It may be a bit harder to stay incognito but you will figure out how to pay for someone else's order. You might even get personally thanked and/or make a new friend.
The Get Creative Costume Payitbehindyou idea
We have used costumes in performing the Payitbehindyou.com challenge. Dress up in a costume and talk to the manager of the store you want to payitbehindyou at. Explain what you are doing and hand them a $ amount you want to contribute, Work with the attendant on a signal when you want a bill paid for. Give the attendant a few of the PAYITBEHINDYOU.COM business/donation cards to pass on to the payee. I have done this in a Santa outfit but you can dress up ANY way you want!
The Payitbehidyou.com philosophy!
The Payitbehindyou.com philosophy is simple: Give fellow human beings a gift that they are not expecting and hope that they will carry your generous example on to someone else and/or give a charitable donation.
No judgments ever made. You shouldn't care about anyone's race, religion, sex, political party, looks, image, car color, car type, income status, personal orientations, beliefs, etc. etc.etc..................
You are just doing something nice for someone else to brighten up their day.

You can definitely have a lot of fun with this. Bring a friend along to share in the experience and be your side kick. Video the cashier and their reaction when you tell them you want to pay someone else's bill. Post or email a challenge to others to do the same thing.
